His interest in recovery and performance began through his participation in the sport of olympic weightlifting, where he dealt with many of his own injuries and learned to condition and prepare his body for the demands of the sport. Beyond olympic weightlifting, Josh considers himself a lifelong student and takes any opportunity he can to introduce himself to and draw inspiration from as many different schools of movement as possible, be it sport, art, rehabilitative, or exercise related.

He recognizes that a treatment plan is only effective if participated in and ensures that treatments and interventions are convenient, accessible, and suitable to your goals and lifestyle. Outside of the clinic, you can likely find Josh at the gym, playing or watching sports, seeking the outdoors, taking in live music, or geeking out about health, fitness, nutrition, and psychology.
